ICA provides total asset maintenance services on all welcome center, rest area and weigh station facilities located in District Three. We also maintain the US 90 scales, the DOT District Office in Chipley, and the Milton Operations Center.
These two contracts, along with ICA’s other existing rest area work, make ICA the largest provider of both building and roadway asset management services in the state.
These services are being performed under a 10-year contract and include:
- Intermediate maintenance and repair of all buildings, grounds, roadways, paved areas, picnic areas, scales, and water and wastewater facilities
- Security guard services, janitorial and cleaning duties, Storm water management facilities, and incident response.
- Also included are the operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, and control systems for the buildings and scales.
ICA currently maintains over 73% of the rest areas and welcome centers in the state. In 2004 and 2005 District Three rest areas were recognized by FDOT as the best maintained in the state of Florida.
