ICA began maintaining over 68 center-line miles of Interstate 64 along with 116 structures between Henrico and Hampton in August of 2005. The project traverses two VDOT districts and includes all routine maintenance associated with roadway assets. The three-year contract is all encompassing from litter and guardrail repair to emergency/incident response, and snow removal.

This section of I-64 carries heavy tourist traffic heading to Virginia Beach, the Outer Banks and Historic Williamsburg making the aesthetics, mowing, and debris removal a top maintenance priority.

This contract was renewed 8/1/08 for an additional three-year term. In 2011 ICA won the re-procured contract for an addtional five years.
